- Up to 34 minutes of flight time

Despite its compact design, this drone’s capabilities are extensive. The first ‘pro’ Mini drone, we conducted an in-depth review to find out what all the hype is about.
DJI Mini 3 Pro: Review
Like the other drones in the DJI Mini series, the Mini 3 Pro weighs in at just 249g (meaning a Flyer ID is not required to fly this drone in the UK). Perfect for content creators always on the go, it’s foldable and compact design makes it portable and easy to bring with you on all your adventures.
Despite its tiny size, this DJI drone proves highly durable. With level 5 wind resistance it can withstand winds of up to 10.7m/s. This, coupled with upgraded safety features which are discussed in greater detail further on, gives you peace of mind as you fly.
Boasting larger propellers and an aerodynamic body tilt, this drone lets you get more out of every flight. In addition, the re-engineered gimbal allows for a wider rotation range and True Vertical Shooting. The camera gimbal rotates 90° meaning operators can alternate between landscape and portrait with just a tap.
Shoot with clarity thanks to the Mini 3 Pro’s impressive camera quality.
Equipped with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor which features dual native ISO, the Mini 3 Pro captures images in significant detail even in low lighting environments. It’s ability to capture 48MP RAW photos offers rich clarity in every shot and proves more impressive than the Mini 2’s 12MP camera.
Not only can this drone capture crisp 4K HDR video but take advantage of 1080p/120fps slow-motion video for dramatic footage to grab your viewer’s attention. And with 4x digital zoom, capture scenes from afar.
D-Cinelike Colour mode offers richer colour possibilities and greater flexibility during the editing process.
Though mini in size, this drone’s performance capabilities are mega.
This Mini offers an extended flight time of up to 34 minutes, meaning you can capture all the footage you need in one go. This drone also boasts a flagship-level video transmission range offering a maximum flight distance of 18km in windless conditions.
The intelligent flight modes available are impressive for a drone of this size. MasterShots is the perfect platform for beginners to create short, high-quality videos while the FastTrack suite features ActiveTrack 4.0, Spotlight 2.0 and Point of Interest 3.0.
Elevate your aerial shots with DJI’s 5 QuickShot Modes: Dronie, Helix, Rocket, Circle and Boomerang. With the touch of a few buttons, the Mini 3 Pro will automatically capture professional quality footage.
Don’t be fooled by its ultralight design and compact size, the DJI Mini 3 Pro is very powerful.
As mentioned earlier, the upgraded safety features of the Mini 3 Pro make it stand out from its predecessors.
With tri-directional obstacle sensing, it proves to be the safest Mini drone yet. With forward, backward, and downward dual-vision sensors and a new and improved design, enjoy enhanced safety letting you focus on getting the perfect shot.
In addition, Advanced Pilot Assistant Systems (APAS) 4.0 identifies and avoids any obstacles in real-time, giving you greater peace of mind when flying.
The DJI Mini 3 Pro has been warmly welcomed by the drone world and it is clear to see why. At a reasonable price point and with upgraded safety and design features, the Mini 3 Pro proves the most advanced drone in the Mini series to date. Despite its compact size, its capabilities are impressive.
Designed specifically for this aircraft, DJI have also launched the DJI RC. This new lightweight remote controller features a built-in screen. With the pre-installed DJI Fly app, you can fully focus on capturing the perfect footage. This drone is also compatible with the existing DJI RC-N1.
